Tablecloth?

This was suppose to be a tablecloth, but it's WAY TOO BIG.
It fits on my queen size bed, so I guess it's now a bedspread.
This baby took me from August 1, 2009 to December 27, 2010.
I didn't think I would ever finish it.
We had a few moves between start and finish.
So it was started in Italy, worked on in USA, and finished in Belgium.
I guess I can call it my "hopping the pond" bedspread. ;0)

    This is just breathtaking. What a treasure, an heirloom. You are a magnificent crocheter! I would love something like this, can you share where the pattern is from?
